My weird and painful ghost story by Caroline
It was a dark and stormy night, I was home by myself. I could hear thunder
and rain, and see lightning out the window. I was watching "iCarly: I Start A Fan
War" when all of a sudden, the electricity went out!
I breathed in and out deeply. I
heard something behind me. I gasped. I turned around and saw a ghost that looked
just like....ME. I gasped again.
"Wh-who are you?" I stammered.
"I am Carolyn. I am
a clone of you. But, I have brown-blonde hair and blue-brown eyes." the ghost said.
"H-how did you die? What do you want from me?" I asked. "I died while balancing on
the fence in the backyard. Someone shot me in the head. I screamed, then fell off of
the fence, then died. I need you to find my locket my mother gave to me before she
died. It's on the other side of the fence. It is gold and heart-shaped."
Carolyn
said. "Right now?" I asked.
"Yes." Carolyn said. "The storm has passed." She said.
"Okay. Let's go." I said. We then went outside. I climbed the fence.
"Carolyn! I see
it! It's in the grass!" I exclaimed with joy. I then lost my balance and fell to the
ground, landing on my right ankle. I cried out in pain.
"Carolyn! Help!" I screamed
out to her.
"I am coming!" Carolyn cried. "Are you okay? Is the LOCKET okay?"
Carolyn said. "The locket is okay, but I'M not. I fell and twisted my right ankle
pretty bad." I said.
"Oh dear!" Carolyn then lifted me and carried me back into the
house.
"Here's the locket, Carolyn." I handed her the locket. "Thank you, Caroline!
I want to give this bracelet to you to remember me." Carolyn said. She slipped a
pink and gold bracelet onto my wrist.
"Thanks, Carolyn." I said.
"No problem,
Caroline. There's a button on the bracelet if you need me, okay? Goodbye, my
friend...and sister."
We waved goodbye. I fell asleep. I woke up to find an ace
bandage and ice pack on my ankle. The bracelet was still on my wrist. I found a note
on my stomach. It read, "My dear friend Caroline, I just wanted to thank you once
again and I want to invite you for tea to thank you even more. Tomorrow at 6:31
p.m., all right? Thank you so much for finding my locket. From, Carolyn."
Carolyn
appeared again. I gasped with horror and joy. "Please don't scare me like that
again! I almost had a heart attack!" I said, taking two breaths.
"I'm sorry,
Caroline. I didn't mean to." Carolyn said.
"It's okay." I said as I looked down.
When I looked up, Carolyn disappeared. I smiled with happiness, for I knew I found
another friend, a clear-as-light, see-through friend. But, I didn't care, I loved
her anyway. I also knew I had my first ghostly experience.
The End!
