The Carnival

There once were two kids that loved carnivals! Their names were Jack and
Claire. They were brother and sister. Jack was younger than Claire. So their town
was having a carnival in the park! Obviously they wanted to go.
They asked their mom
the night before the carnival if they could go. Their mom said yes but she was very
sick so she couldn't go. She told Claire to watch Jack if they went.
The night of
the carnival their mom drove them to the carnival and gave them $100 to go do what
they pleased. Jack wanted to go see the clowns but Claire wanted to go on the ferris
wheel.
Claire was afraid of clowns! Her mom said she had to watch her little brother
so they went to go see the clown show.
After it was over it was 8:00, time for the
carnival to close.
They were getting ready to leave when they saw the clowns
talking. They were sort of talking in a secret way though. So they got closer!
One
of the clowns whose name was Wacky Man saw them. Claire thought of running but she
stood perfectly still.
The other clowns then saw her and ran up to the children.
Then one locked the gate to get out and all you could hear was screaming in the
night!
